Performance Evaluation Unit

The Performance Evaluation Unit is responsible for assessing the efficiency of faculty members and staff regarding their professional performance and conduct. It is a formal system designed to measure and evaluate individual performance and behavior during work through continuous and systematic observation of performance, behavior, and outcomes over specific, predefined periods.

It functions as a periodic report that illustrates an individual’s performance level and conduct compared to the tasks and duties assigned to their position. This helps officials identify the strengths and weaknesses of an individual’s activities, with the ultimate goal of addressing weaknesses and reinforcing strengths. This concept focuses on actual performance in light of job requirements and the expected achievements.

Accreditation Unit

This unit is responsible for advancing the status of laboratories within scientific, research, and medical institutions to ensure they meet high-level international standards and specifications. Implementing laboratory quality assurance benefits institutions by positioning the university among elite global ranks. The unit works toward mastering laboratory operations to ensure that scientific, engineering, and medical measurements and tests are accurate and internationally recognized, ultimately providing the best outcomes in scientific research and advanced studies.

The responsibilities of the Laboratory Accreditation Unit are:

Monitoring and auditing laboratory specifications to ensure alignment with approved standard requirements.

Defining technical specifications for devices and equipment, including their coding and data documentation, in coordination with laboratory supervisors and counterparts in other colleges, institutes, and universities.

Following up on the implementation of calibration programs for devices and equipment with the relevant authorities.

Coordinating the organization of scheduled training courses for laboratory personnel.

Coordinating with the Laboratory Accreditation Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to enhance laboratory performance and achieve accreditation from specialized bodies.
