Overview of the Department

The Studies and Planning Department serves as the primary hub for knowledge management and keeping pace with scientific advancement. It performs a strategic mission by providing comprehensive data and statistics regarding the college, its departments, and its affiliated centers.

The department is responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing short, medium, and long-term strategic plans, backed by an extensive database covering all college units.
  • Admissions Management: Formulating annual student admission plans tailored to the evolving requirements of the labor market.
  • Academic Development: Proposing the establishment of new departments, branches, and scientific colleges to keep pace with global developments and fulfill society’s need for specialized experts across various fields of knowledge.

Vision

Striving diligently to develop the university's performance (including colleges, centers, departments, divisions, and administrative units) to achieve the highest levels of development. The Department of Studies and Planning is responsible for preparing and monitoring the implementation of university plans, academic statistics, and database updates across all formations. This is achieved by adopting modern, systematic planning schedules and programs based on well-defined standards to revitalize workflows in all fields.

Mission

The mission of the Studies and Planning Division is to provide exceptional data analysis services, develop effective plans and strategies, and offer an advanced technological environment. This aims to support academic and administrative operations and foster sustainable development within the educational institution.

Goals



  1. Contributing to the development of short-term and long-term strategic plans to achieve the university's goals with minimal effort and in the shortest possible time.




  2. Defining the goals to be achieved for the university in general and its various formations in particular.




  3. Establishing new academic and administrative formations to provide the labor market with fresh talents that contribute to the country's progress and development.




  4. Completing a comprehensive and integrated database that includes all data for the university's personnel.
