Specialized Training Course on Prosthetic Design Using SolidWorks

Details: The College of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Prosthetics organized a specialized training course titled “Prosthetic Design Using SolidWorks Software.” The course was presented by Dr. Saif Mohammed Jawad Haider at the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Technologies, with the participation of several students and specialists in the field.

The course covered the fundamentals of designing and developing prosthetic limbs using modern engineering software. It highlighted the utilization of SolidWorks in creating high-precision 3D models tailored to meet users’ specific needs, ultimately contributing to an improved quality of life.

Furthermore, the program included practical applications aimed at developing students’ skills in transforming conceptual ideas into manufacturable designs.
