University President Inaugurates Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week at Najaf Technical Institute
Details: In the presence of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of the College of Medical Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Techniques, Professor Dr. Fares Mohammed Al-Jaifari, and the Dean of the Najaf Technical Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan, the activities of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week 2026 were launched at the Najaf Technical Institute. The event is held under the theme: “From the Land of the Two Rivers, Ideas Take Flight.”
The festivities featured an exhibition of entrepreneurial projects, where students presented innovative solutions focused on localizing technology and creating creative applications tailored to the local labor market.
The University President emphasized the institution’s commitment to supporting and nurturing creative projects, transforming them from theoretical research into practical applications that contribute to economic development.
The event will continue for five days, including exhibitions, workshops, and direct networking sessions with business incubators to support and fund student ideas.
