“The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 has been released, featuring competition among 1,900 academic institutions worldwide.
The results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 revealed significant competitive achievements for the University of Baghdad in the fields of Computer Science and Information Systems, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Dentistry, Medicine, and Agriculture. Additionally, the University of Anbar showed competitive results in Computer Science and Information Systems and Petroleum Engineering, while the University of Basra excelled in the field of Agriculture.
The 2026 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject included the classification of 50 subjects distributed across major thematic areas. This year’s ranking witnessed competition among 1,900 academic institutions, following the inclusion of 300 new institutions that were not part of the 2025 edition.”
