The College of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Prosthetics Organizes a Humanitarian Visit to Dar Al-Baraem and the Elderly Care Home in Najaf Al-Ashraf

Details: The College of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Prosthetics at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, specifically the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Prosthetic Techniques, organized a humanitarian field visit to the State-Run Care Home for Children (Dar Al-Baraem) and the Elderly Care Home in Najaf Al-Ashraf. A number of the department’s faculty members and students participated in the visit, which comes as part of the community and humanitarian activities that the college is keen to organize.

The visit witnessed a remarkably warm and humanitarian atmosphere, featuring direct interactions with both the children and the elderly to learn about their conditions and needs. It also aimed to provide emotional support, contributing to fostering a spirit of love and human connection.

Additionally, the visit included distributing gifts to the residents of both care homes, bringing joy and happiness to their hearts. This initiative reflects the values of social solidarity and voluntary work that the college seeks to instill in its students.

Participants emphasized that such visits contribute to developing students’ humanitarian and social awareness, reinforcing the concept of social responsibility alongside their academic and educational roles.
