Training Course on Traffic Accidents to Enhance Awareness and Safety at the College of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Prosthetics
Details: Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Fares Mohammed Al-Juaifari, Dean of the College of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Prosthetics, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, in cooperation with the Najaf Traffic Directorate, conducted a training course titled “Traffic Accidents.” This initiative aligns with the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030), specifically under the “Protection” pillar.
The course featured lectures by Colonel Qusay Shaker Al-Ghazzi, Head of Media at the Najaf Traffic Directorate, and Dr. Zainab Wathiq Kamil. The sessions provided awareness on the primary causes of traffic accidents, methods to mitigate them, and the critical importance of adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Objectives:
- Promoting Awareness: Spreading traffic awareness among students to foster a culture of road safety.
- Saving Lives: Contributing to the reduction of accidents and the preservation of lives.
- Institutional Partnership: Strengthening the collaboration between educational and security institutions to serve the community.
